"Yes," he tells me, "I saw him one night with the moon doing 'mmm, mmm,' and he was pouring something in the branches with a demijohn."
So one day I go to find Elder Haralambos. "What's up, Elder Haralambos?" I tell him. "How are you? What are you doing? Someone saw you pouring something into the bushes with a demijohn, and you were going 'mmm, mmm'."
"There were some lillies on the hill," he told me, "and I went to water them, and I was saying, 'Rejoice, Bride unwedded!' as I watered one lily, and again 'Rejoice, Bride unwedded!' as I watered another. Then I would fill the demijohn again, and pour again."
You see, the other one passed him off as a magician!

Πάω μιά μέρα βρίσκω τον Γέροντα Χαράλαμπο."Τι γίνεται Γερο-Χαράλαμπε; του λέω.Πως τα περνάς; Τι κάνεις; Κάποιος σε είδε που έρριχνες εκεί μέσα στα βάτα κάτι με μία νταμιτζάνα και έκανες "μμμ, μμμ..." Ήταν κάτι κρίνα μέσα στα ρουμάνια, μου λέει, και πήγα να τα ποτίσω. Έλεγα Χαίρε, Νύμφη Ανύμφευτε! " και έριχνα λίγο νερό στον ένα κρίνο "Χαίρε, Νύμφη Ανύμφευτε" και έριχνα λίγο νερό στον άλλο. Γέμιζα πάλι τη νταμιτζάνα, ξαναέριχνα."
Βλέπεις και ο άλλος τον πέρασε για μάγο!
